MQDC Founder Features in NIA’s Book on Innovation

Mrs. Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp, the Founder of MQDC, features in “The Founder II”, a book by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) on “Innovation in Time of Crisis”.

May 2022, Bangkok – Mrs. Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp, the Founder of MQDC, features in “The Founder II”, a book by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) on “Innovation in Time of Crisis”.

NIA honored MQDC in its National Innovation Awards 2021 with a “Merit” recognition as an “Innovation Organization” in the category for large organizations.

“The Founder II” features interviews with 25 leading figures who have helped Thailand address the pandemic, climate change, and economic crisis.

Mrs. Ahriyavraromp features in the section on climate change. She explains the origins in 1993 of DTGO, the parent of MQDC. The group reflects her determination to help society, with a set of principles to ensure its long-term success.

“We have to build a long-lasting organization, create a smart community that comes with innovation, work systems, human development,” she said. “Otherwise, our organization cannot last long.”

Her interview also highlights the key role of “happiness” in the group’s culture and The Forestias, MQDC’s forested district at Bangna built for sustainable health and happiness.

“Research show that people who are close to nature are happier,” she said. “Colors have varying impact on mood. The amount of light creates different moods. The temperature of the house can be designed to reduce family conflicts.”
