1 July 2021, Chonburi – MQDC Pattaya and Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) are enabling safe disposal of used surgical masks with “Red Zip-Lock Sharing Happiness”, a project to give “Red Zip-Lock Bags” to 8 municipalities in Sattahip under MQDC’s “Sharing Happiness” initiative in the COVID-19 outbreak.

The project aims to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading through incorrect disposal of surgical masks, which must be disposed of appropriately.

“Red Zip-Lock Bags” developed under the sustainnovation principle will help protect workers in the waste industry.

Led by Mr. Tanin Winwacharawach, Senior Manager of MQDC, the team presented 24,000 “Red Zip-Lock Bags” to Mr. Kittipong Kitikhun, chief officer of Sattahip, representing the 8 municipalities.

MQDC looks forward to assisting this relief effort so that we can get through this situation together.
