16 August 2021, Bangkok – Ms. “Halomi” Khaliun Sukhbaatar, Vice President of Customer Services for MQDC, has been appointed as a Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to Thailand.

H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand, presented her with a certificate at the embassy to formalize her new honorary role, covering culture, arts, history, and sports.

As a Cultural Envoy, Ms. Halomi will promote Mongolian culture in Thailand and develop cooperation between the two countries. She recently helped host the ambassador at The Forestias, where he outlined opportunities for collaboration through the newly established Thai-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce.

“I am deeply honored to help represent my country, which shares considerable cultural heritage with Thailand and looks to it for ideas and inspiration,” she said.

“Bangkok has a growing Mongolian community. Our businesses are also eager to learn from companies such as MQDC, which can help realize ambitious new ‘green city’ projects in Mongolia.”

Mongolia’s Cultural Ministry has appointed 57 Cultural Envoys around the world. Notable envoys include sumo champion Hakuhō Shō, Olympic judoka Tuvshinbayar Naidan, and rock band “The Hu”.
