1 April 2019, Bangkok - Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Mr Keerin Chutumstid as President, Property & Service, bringing extensive experience in heavy engineering that will help the Bangkok-based property developer deliver 'sustainnovation' technology that fulfils its guiding principle 'for all well-being'.
Mr Chutumsid, 55, is an engineering graduate who has held national and international executive roles at global companies with market-leading industrial technology including Chukai, Kiattana Transport, Linde (Thailand), Thainox Stainless, Thai Industrial Gases (TIG), and BOC.

CEO Mr Visit Malaisirirat said the appointment would enhance the technology and processes of MQDC - Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited.

"As President, Property & Service, Mr Keerin's background at the vertices of companies in complex, technically demanding fields equips him perfectly to help drive MQDC's 'sustainnovation' approach in property development," he said.

"In this new role he will help MQDC work with ever-greater rigor and creativity to fulfil its promise 'for all well-being', achieving the well-being not only of humans but of all living beings.

Becoming the first Thai to head the German giant Linde in this country also clearly speaks to his exceptional ability to establish and maintain efficient processes and operations."

Mr Chutumsid said that MQDC's distinctive ethos prompted his switch from heavy industry to property development. "MQDC's impressive portfolio - including 3 of Thailand's 10 tallest buildings - reflects a research-based, tech-forward 'sustainnovation' approach where my skills in engineering and processes can make a great contribution," he said.

"MQDC is already winning awards for its use of tools like building information modeling (BIM)and achieving outstanding green certifications. But we will continue to press forward, setting new standards to achieve our goal 'for all well-being'."

DTGO, the parent company of MQDC, has been named one of the 2019 World's Most Ethical Companies. The group is the first Thai business on this prestigious list, compiled annually since 2007 by the US-based Ethisphere Institute.

Mr Chutumsid moves to MQDC from a role as Chief Operating Officer of Chukai, a listed company that supplies new and used construction machinery and provides a range of construction and transport services.

He earlier served at Kiattana Transport as Managing Director and Non-Executive Director, at Linde as Country Head and Cluster Head (for Thailand and Vietnam), and at INOX as Deputy Managing Director.
