Mulberry Grove holds 'Intergeneration Family Forum'

30 May 2019, Bangkok - Mulberry Grove held 'Intergeneration Family Forum', highlighting the benefits of bringing several generations under the same roof, at the Auditorium of Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (BACC).
To underscore how all generations flourish when an extended family shares the same home, the MQDC brand gathered 4 expert speakers for the forum.

Mrs. Keiko Sugi, CEO at Kotoen, a groundbreaking social care facility in Japan, spoke on combining childcare with support for older adults. Ms. Samantha Allen, from the International Well Building Institute (IWBI), presented on design and architecture for intergeneration living.

Asst. Prof. Pimonpan Isarabhakdi from the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University and Assoc. Prof. Vipan Prachuabmoh, Dean of the College of Population Studies at Chulalongkorn University, gave insights from studies into intergeneration attitudes in Thailand.

Research shows that over 70% of Thais want to live in intergeneration families, they revealed.

Mrs. Suquan Bulakul, a celebrity, shared her personal experience of living within an extended family.
