19 May 2022, Singapore – MQDC’s The Forestias green district will use a “smart campus” to help achieve its goal of bringing humankind back to nature, Mr. Kittikun Potivanakul, Chief Technology Officer of MQDC, told the Huawei APAC Digital Innovation Congress 2022.
The Forestias forested neighborhood, across 398 rai at Banga-Trad KM7 in Bangkok, is the world’s first urban district designed in every aspect for health and happiness.
Four residential concepts bring sustainable well-being to every age: The Aspen Tree, Mulberry Grove, Six Senses, and Whizdom.
Huawei’s Smart Campus Solution will help seamlessly integrate transport, energy, security, facilities, and other green systems to enhance sustainability and wellness.
“Digital technology can help overcome challenges such as creating a homogenous customer experience,” said Mr. Potivanakul.
“An open system that can continue to evolve endlessly lets us expand our services and develop our technology to create a great experience. The campus can connect sensors to create Big Data for analytics so the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) can respond in real time.”
The Forestias is a mixed-use district with malls, healthcare, offices, restaurants, sport, leisure, entertainment, as well as extensive green spaces that cover 56% of its area.
