The Central Utilities Plant (CUP) is a new “smart city” infrastructure system to help achieve environmental sustainability.
The CUP enables a “district energy” approach, supplying chilled water through a network of tunnels to cool all the residences and buildings across the site.

- Building structure is 100% complete and architecture is 93% finished, with completion set for December 2022.
- The thermal energy storage tank is 83% complete.
- Mechanical systems are 81% complete.
- Electrical work is 85% complete.
- 60% of the district cooling system is now in testing and commissioning.
