12 July 2023, Chonburi – MQDC and its Pattaya team helped host “Little Heroes” for the 4th year, helping 35 students of Wat Na Jomtien school learn to look after the environment.
Amara Watersports, Ban Amphor community enterprises, and Sarapan Punsuk joined the event with Blue Carbon Society, an environmental non-profit supported by MQDC’s parent DTGO.
Ms. Amara Wichithong, a former Thai national windsurfer, spoke on tackling waste and led paddleboarding activities to clean up the beach and ocean.
Mr. Anusorn Sainapha, chairman of Ban Amphor community enterprises, spoke on how to upcycle plastic waste into bricks and other items.
The event included "Beach Detective" activities where students learned about nature with the Sarapan Pansuk team.
Mr. Apipattanapong Muangpakai from Blue Carbon Society gave a talk on “Discover Our Blue World”, explaining the importance of sea and waste issues.
The 35 pupils gained knowledge and had fun in the cleanup activities to spread awareness of conservation.
