The Central Utilities Plant (CUP) provides new “smart city” infrastructure to help achieve environmental sustainability.
The Forestias has installed systems in tunnels under its roads including for drinking water. The project will have clean, high-quality drinking water to international standards. The pipes are all from food-grade stainless steel with high resistance to corrosion. The pipes therefore won’t rust or absorb substances and odors, combining long service life with safety and hygiene to ensure clean and healthy drinking water.
Testing of the drinking water system is now over 89% complete.
