FutureTales Lab Shows Officials the “Future of Urbanization”

FutureTales Lab, the futurology center set up by MQDC, welcomed the National Municipal Association of Thailand.

14 December 2022, Bangkok - FutureTales Lab, the futurology center set up by MQDC, welcomed the National Municipal Association of Thailand.

The lab at the True Digital Park hosts futurists engaged in national and global research.

FutureTales Lab has produced reports with Arup and the National Innovation Agency on potential futures for Bangkok in areas such as leisure, transport, and work.

The lab has also launched a data center with Esri to forecast crises over the next 100 years.

The municipal officers visited through the “City Data Academy” training program by AI and Robotics Ventures.

FutureTales Lab researchers welcomed the visitors and spoke on “Future of Urbanization”.

Their presentation addressed how cities and their surroundings will change, applying research into megatrends over the next 30 years.

The team explained how to develop and apply future scenarios to analyze city data. The visitors explored the “Future of Living” exhibition at the lab.
