DTGO Helps Hilltribe Kids Learn English

A Buddharaksa Foundation working group visited Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai to monitor English teaching at schools and learning centers under Border Patrol Police Region 3.

January 2025, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai – A Buddharaksa Foundation working group visited Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai to monitor English teaching at schools and learning centers under Border Patrol Police Region 3. 

DTGO, the mother group of MQDC, backs the non-profit to help underprivileged children and youths reach their full potential. 

Buddharaksa Foundation is improving English teaching in remote areas by introducing the "HighScope" approach. 

Teachers have achieved great results in Border Patrol Police schools. Kids can learn English without having to translate from Thai. Many of the children are native speakers of other languages. 

Mr. Anuwat Takkachonchoochai, who teaches English for the foundation at Ban Huai Kuk, recently received the Siambhat Award at the Air Force Auditorium.
