Non-profit foundations supported by MQDC have visited Mae Ramat to inspect potential sites for a “Suksala” health center for local people lacking public health services.

25-27 January 2023, Tak – Non-profit foundations supported by MQDC have visited Mae Ramat to inspect potential sites for a “Suksala” health center for local people lacking public health services.

Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation and Buddharaksa Foundation, which help communities access education and healthcare, are supported by MQDC through the 5% of topline revenue the company dedicates to initiatives for people and the planet.

The visit revealed that communities in many areas are excluded from health services by difficulty in reaching them or lack of rights to treatment.

The team spoke with migrant health volunteers (MHVs) and local stakeholders to plan the center’s construction.
