Earthquake Experts Visit The Forestias to Exchange Knowledge
16 April 2025, Bangkok – MQDC welcomed experts from the International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) at Tohoku University, the Earthquake Research Center of Thailand, Public Sector Committee, and Public Administration Committee to The Forestias to exchange knowledge on preparing for natural disasters and discuss collaboration opportunities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ryuta Enokida, Asst. Prof. Naruethep Sukulthanasorn, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anawach Sanphasri, also from the Honorary Advisor Public Sector Committee, came from IRIDeS at Japan's Tohoku University in Sendai.
Ms. Ratchaneekorn Thongthip, also a Senator, came from the Earthquake Research Center of Thailand with Mr. Nattapol Thammakboworn, also an Honorary Public Advisor, to share insights on disasters.
Mr. Kittiphun Ouiyamaphun, Project Director of The Forestias, and Dr. Jittapat Choruengwiwat, Senior Vice President of RISC, welcomed the visitors with a team and discussed the project’s design and innovations.
