RISC by MQDC Launches “Fahsai Mini” Air-Purifying Tower

7 December 2021, Bangkok – Research & Innovation to Sustainability Center (RISC) by MQDC has built on the success of its 2 “Fahsai” models to develop “Fahsai Mini”, a smaller air-purifier that is easier to move and install but offers similar performance. “Fahsai Mini” will be available for purchase through Dsupreme affiliates from December 2021 to tackle air pollution, especially PM2.5 and airborne microbes.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to RISC, said: “We developed and built the first generation of ‘Fahsai I’, a city-level air-purification tower, in 2020. In 2021, it was developed into ‘Fahsai II’ to boost effectiveness against bacteria and viruses. ‘Fahsai Mini’ is a smaller version that can be applied in any urban environment with high population density."

Mr. Vithit Arparpardh, President of Dsupreme, said: “Dsupreme is delighted to have been selected by RISC to distribute Fahsai Mini, which helps reduce air pollution, PM2.5, and germs, which are on the rise as the year ends. The air purifier is expected to be available to purchase from December 2021.”

"Fahsai Mini" applies a wet scrubber system and combines 800 watts of solar panels with grid power. It is streamlined to a height of only 3.20 meters and a base width of 1.35 meters for easy access to the installation area.

The air is disinfected with a UVGI system to produce clean air that is released at breathing height and driven by fans to achieve the desired volume.
