DTGO Listed in “2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies”

23 February 2021, New York DTGO, the parent group of MQDC, has been recognized by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies.

DTGO has been recognized for 3 consecutive years since becoming the first Thai business on the respected global register in 2019. In 2021, 135 honorees were recognized spanning 22 countries and 47 industries.

DTGO is a diversified group established in 1993 to integrate societal contribution with business success. The group’s companies include property developer MQDC, which implements the group’s values in projects such as The Forestias, a green district across 157 acres at Bangna incorporating forest and designed for well-being and sustainability in every aspect.

Under its “business-social” concept, DTGO aims to lead in ethics, dedicating 2% of its topline revenue to societal initiatives and looking to benefit the world in all its activities in line with its watchword “Adding Value in Everything We Do”.

“DTGO’s companies and teams are all delighted to have once again passed this exacting test of our policies and procedures with the Ethics Quotient assessment of the 5 key areas of governance, leadership and reputation, culture of ethics, ethics and compliance program, environmental and societal impact,” said Mrs. Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp, Founder of DTGO and Chairman of its Executive Committee.

“This recognition will inspire us to keep working together to benefit society and the planet with projects such as The Forestias that can benefit the world at large, the society we live in, and all our stakeholders, as well as the group’s own sustainable development. We thank our customers, business and social partners, investors, and other stakeholders for their commitment to ethical business.”

DTGO’s distinctive corporate values recently featured in the “Leaders on Purpose” study by experts from Harvard University, Unilever, the World Bank, London School of Economics on “purpose-first” businesses that can help the world “build back better” after the pandemic.

“While addressing the tough challenges of 2020, we saw companies lead – above all other institutions – on earning the trust of stakeholders through resilience and a commitment to ethics and integrity,” said Ethisphere CEO Timothy Erblich.

“The World’s Most Ethical Companies honorees continue to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the highest values and positively impacting the communities they serve. Congratulations to everyone at DTGO for earning the World’s Most Ethical Companies designation.”
