19 May 2021, Bangkok – MQDC’s latest “LIVING FORWARD by MQDC” episode focuses on “RISC: The 1st WELL Certified™ office in Thailand” with special guest Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to RISC, Mr. Vasuta Chan, Senior Sustainable Designer, LEED AP BD+C and WELL AP, RISC.

RISC has achieved Thailand's first WELL Certified Gold and is the first organization in Southeast Asia with a “Gold” in the New & Existing Interiors category.

Dr. Singh spoke on MQDC’s core concept of creating well-being in buildings through research in well-being and sustainability, applying the WELL Building Standard to lead real estate in Thailand and promote “For All Well-Being”.

Mr. Vasuta spoke on the WELL Standard’s 7 key concepts for healthy buildings: Air, Water, Light, Nourishment, Fitness, Comfort, Mind. He explained how the standard can help reduce disease and microbes during the pandemic with design that enhances airflow and facilitates effective cleaning of all areas.

RISC is ready to share WELL concepts with people interested in design to create well-being. Air quality can be enhanced with airflow within homes to reduce disease. Desks and chairs can be chosen with ergonomic standards to help reduce office syndrome during working from home. Food and beverages can boost immunity, solve health issues, and contribute to sustainable well-being for all life.
