Cloud 11 to Open in 2025 with Bangkok Bank's Support
16 October 2024, Bangkok – Cloud 11 has secured funding from Bangkok Bank to open in 2025 as Asia's largest creator hub.
Mr. Suttha Ruengchaiphaiboon, CEO of MQDC, said: “MQDC thanks Bangkok Bank for long-term project finance to help complete Cloud 11.
"The project will be a hub for creative entertainment businesses and entrepreneurs in the new creative economy, opening opportunities for the new generation in the region."
Cloud 11 spans 10.6 acres on Sukhumvit between Punnawithi and Udomsuk BTS stations. The mixed-use district has a gross floor area of 254,000 square meters. Norwegian design studio Snøhetta and leading Thai architectural firm A49 collaborated to design spaces for creative businesses and professionals.
The Creator Village will have Grade A+ workspace and a suite of co-studio spaces. The creative retail space will have over 250 outlets and host creative events. Key tenants include a market hall by theCOMMONS.
The academy zone will gather schools and institutes from Thailand and abroad including a school for performing arts and a scriptwriting school.
Cloud 11 Hall will stage world-class events. Cloud 11 Park will be Bangkok's largest sky garden and welcome the community of South Sukhumvit.
The project will include the 5-star Sangsan Bangkok hotel, the first in Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio in Thailand. The YOTEL Bangkok smart hotel will offer a unique stay experience.
The project is 70% complete and will be finished by the end of 2025.
