Kids Learn from Nature at The Forestias
15 March 2025, Bangkok – Taitonmai Camp held nature-focused learning activities for children and parents at The Forestias, MQDC's new forest district at Bangna.
The kids enjoyed the green neighborhood's Immersive Experience in the morning. They designed adventure kit then explored forest trails in the Jungle Journey.
Green space covers most of The Forestias. The district spans 157 acres with homes nestled in sustainable forest grown with the famous techniques of Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki.
Parents joined talks and workshops on Nature Play with Dr. Pimpanit Kondee, a psychologist from Chulalongkorn University and the University of London.
The kids went on a treasure hunt in the afternoon at the Explorer's Lookout Playground and played in the Happy Steps fountain.
The Forestias combines homes with amenities for leisure, shopping, learning, working, and healthcare to bring humankind back into harmony with nature.
Created as a new template for urban design, the district's innovative technology includes district cooling in a landscape tailored to reduce outdoor temperatures by 3-5°C.
