Ontario Minister of Economic Development Visits The Aspen Tree
26 September 2025, Bangkok - The Aspen Tree The Forestias welcomed a delegation from the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, led by The Hon. Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of Ontario, Canada.
The delegation was welcomed by Ms. Nobklao Trakulpan, Executive Director of The Aspen Tree; Dr. Urairat Siriwatvejakul, Medical Director of The Aspen Tree; and Dr. Vithaya Sintharapantorn, Senior Vice President of International and Partnership of MQDC. The team also presented the project’s development vision and shared insights on its partnership with Baycrest, a world-renowned Canadian expert in aging and eldercare.
The visiting delegation also included Ms. Nuri Kim, Director of Policy, Minister's Office; Mr. Bernie Derible, Agent General, Southeast Asia (Bangkok); Ms. Chelsea Peet, Senior Economic Officer, Southeast Asia (Singapore); and Mr. Christophe Rouleau-Dick, Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Canada in Thailand.
The Ontario delegation expressed their appreciation and admiration for The Aspen Tree's innovative approach to senior living and well-being. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen international awareness and promote The Aspen Tree as a model for holistic aging-in-place communities on the global stage.
