26 October 2022, Bangkok - Translucia, a subsidiary of T&B Media Global (Thailand), with Infofed and MQDC launched “eArena MQDC BOOTCAMP” to grow e-sports in Thailand as ASEAN’s first full bootcamp for the sector.
“eArena MQDC BOOTCAMP” met world-class standards in its facilities and activities to support and develop young Thais as professional e-sports athletes at a world level, set to build a community of 1 million users by 2023.
Mr. Jirayod Theppipit, CEO and Founder of Infofed, said: “‘eArena MQDC BOOTCAMP' is ASEAN's first e-sports bootcamp for training and developing e-sports athletes, including facilities to support the growth of the industry, with collaboration from MQDC in design and development.”
Mr. Assada Kaeokhiao, Chief Operating Officer, MQDC, said: “MQDC recognizes the importance of creating a tangible virtual community connected to the lifestyles and community of the new generation. The 'eArena MQDC BOOTCAMP' will build an ecosystem to support global competition, linking the real world and the metaverse. It also helps build the brands among Gen Z, who will become the country’s main market with their purchasing power.”

“eArena MQDC BOOTCAMP” had 3 main elements: 1. Support for eArena team athletes, 2. Courses on gaming and e-sports, 3. Content that shared the roadmap for the companies.
