MQDC Unveils Cloud 11, a New Creative Landmark Transforming South Sukhumvit into Asia’s Next Hub for Innovation and the Creative Economy

15 July 2026, Bangkok – Cloud 11, Thailand’s newest creative landmark and a major new destination for Asia’s creative industries, has officially opened its doors, inviting everyone to experience the power of creativity. Backed by an investment of over 20 billion baht and spanning more than 250,000 square metres, Cloud 11 has been developed with the vision of creating a fully integrated creative infrastructure that connects creators, brands, investors, and consumers within one ecosystem. Designed to foster cross-business collaboration and encourage connections across industries, Cloud 11 aims to strengthen Thailand’s rapidly growing creative economy, currently valued at more than 1.4 trillion baht equivalent to approximately 8% of the country’s GDP and supporting over one million jobs nationwide.

Mr. Paul Sirisant, Chief Executive Officer of Cloud 11, said "Thailand’s creative industries are entering a period of tremendous opportunity. Thai films, series, music, games, and creative content have gained international recognition, but sustaining this momentum requires a robust creative infrastructure that seamlessly connects businesses, brands, investors, and consumers. Cloud 11 was created to bridge this gap by building an ecosystem that empowers the creative economy—providing space for experimentation, fostering collaboration, and creating new business opportunities that will drive the sustainable long-term growth of Thailand’s creative industries."

At the heart of Cloud 11 are its 11 Passion Engines, the key drivers of the creative economy bringing together food, fashion, film, music, dance, art, sports and wellness, gaming, content creation, festivals, and urban parks within a single destination. The project is designed to enable creators, entrepreneurs, and organizations from diverse industries to connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful collaborations through experiences, programmers, and purpose-built creative infrastructure.

Cloud 11 has invested more than 1 billion baht in one of the region’s most comprehensive content production infrastructures. Facilities include international-standard production studios, recording studios, dance rehearsal studios, post-production facilities, and live commerce studios that are directly connected to workspaces for businesses and entrepreneurs, enabling every step of commercial content creation to take place seamlessly within one integrated ecosystem.

Cloud 11 is also actively building partnerships with leading organizations and innovation companies from Thailand and around the world. The project has received investment promotion privileges from Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI), providing incentives and tax benefits that will help attract international companies in the content and entertainment industries.

Cloud 11 has already secured an impressive portfolio of partners, businesses, and creative operators, including 1500 Sound Academy, the renowned U.S. music academy behind globally recognised artists; Doc Club & Friends, the new home for independent cinema; Trendy Gallery, a contemporary art gallery; Pad Thai Padel; SM True; theCOMMONS; TrueVisions; Kantana; and Cat Radio, alongside many other partners across the creative industries.

One of Cloud 11’s key partners is theCOMMONS Cloud 11, the largest theCOMMONS location to date, occupying more than 5,420 square metres. Featuring over 40 food and beverage outlets, it is envisioned as the "South Sukhumvit Nourishing Backyard", a vibrant community space where people from across the district can gather, exchange ideas, and enjoy a dynamic programme of food, music, activities, and cultural experiences every day.

The development will also be home to Trendy Gallery, which has established its permanent gallery at a prominent location within the project, as well as Doc Club & Friends, an independent cinema and community space for documentary and arthouse film enthusiasts from around the world. The venue will also serve as one of the official locations for this year's Bangkok International Film Festival.
