21 August 2026, Bangkok – Happitat officially opens its doors, inviting everyone to experience a New Global Landmark of Happiness. The grand opening celebration brought together distinguished guests, celebrities, artists, and visitors for an unforgettable evening filled with extraordinary experiences.
The opening ceremony was presided over by General Surayud Chulanont, President of the Privy Council, and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, Senior Vice Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CP Axtra, who delivered the opening remarks. The event was also attended by Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group; Mr. Narong Chearavanont, Senior Vice Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group and Director of CP Axtra Public Company Limited; Dr. Nathawat Ahriyavraromp, Founder and CEO of T&B Media Global (Thailand) and co-creator of The Forestias; and Mrs. Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp, Founder and Chairman of MQDC Executive Committee, along with senior executives from the public and private sectors.
The evening began with a Green Carpet, led by global superstar Zhou Yiran, who flew in from China, alongside Chompoo Araya, Yai Ning, Sai Fah, Phayu, and Nong Gale, the families of Bie and Gubgib, Freen Sarocha, Butterbear and Bianca, Jung, Cullen, Dan and Judy, Yin and War, Ta-Nueng, True AF 2026, and more than 100 celebrities and artists. Guests were treated to spectacular performances across five stages throughout the evening.
One of the evening’s highlights was Thailand’s largest-ever drone show, featuring 2,222 drones in a breathtaking display titled “Sky Canvas of Happiness.” The sky was transformed into a canvas of happiness, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display. The performance featured the voices of Violette Wautier and Wim Hongladarom, with Tor Saksit on piano alongside the Mahidol Chamber Orchestra.
The Forestias also unveiled its new showcase within Happitat, offering visitors an opportunity to experience its concept of living in close connection with nature. The showcase also features dedicated staff who provide an exclusive experience and personalized guidance for visitors and customers.
