Recently, Sirinath Jamieson, PhD MSc DIC BArch(Hons) MInstP, (far left) a specialist in health and wellbeing in the built environment, represented Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) at an academic seminar given at "Elderly Innovation for Thailand 4.0"
She spoke on "Sharing Knowledge for (Ageing) Thailand 4.0", discussing some of her experience in this field gained from the US and UK, including the fact that higher subjective wellbeing can contribute to longer lifespan for older people, sometimes dramatically so.
Hosted by the BMA General Central Hospital, the event was aimed at promoting innovation for older people, to ensure a better quality of life for them in the Thailand 4.0 era. It is the public and private sector's new role to introduce innovation for older people, as Thailand will soon become an ageing society.
