The Forestias Masterplan Stars on “Suthichai Live” with Top Architect
18 May 2021, Bangkok – Toby Blunt, a senior partner from famous global architecture studio Foster + Partners, explains how The Forestias masterplan achieves “holistic sustainability” to Mr. Suthichai Yoon on “Suthichai Live”.
Mr. Blunt tells the famous journalist that the masterplan applies insights from Thai architecture to revive family bonds and reconnect humankind with nature.
“When I talk about sustainability, I don’t just mean green energy or anything like that,” he said.
“It was a holistic approach to sustainability and community. Something that Mrs. Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp [Chairman of MQDC] talked about very early on was this whole sense of community and reconnection.”
With an emphasis on “Thainess” the project is unique in how it contains “the entire life cycle”, embracing every generation from birth to old age, he added.
Spanning 398 rai at Bangna, The Forestias is a world-first green neighborhood designed in every aspect for health and happiness.
The “Enchanted Community District in the Forest” combines diverse residential concepts with a host of lifestyle amenities from retail to education, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, and green transport.
